Karen Thomas, president of Oxford HealthCare, receives an Outstanding Citizen resolution from CoxHealth President Bob Bezanson, right, and former board President Ralph Slavens during a Nov. 17 ceremony in the Cox Fountain Plaza Room of Cox Medical Center North. The resolution was from Sen. Norma Champion and Rep. Bob Dixon. During the ceremony, Thomas also received a proclamation from Gov. Matt Blunt in recognition of her outstanding contributions to the community.
