Charles Powell, PE, of Scott Consulting Engineers PC is the engineer for Missouri Army National Guard’s Aviation Classification and Repair Army Depot at the Springfield-Branson Regional Airport. Scott Consulting Engineers also is the subconsultant and will provide surveying and site civil engineering. The project comprises various modules that can be constructed in a logical sequence as funding from congressional appropriations becomes available. Scott Consulting Engineers, in conjunction with Palmerton and Parrish, is responsible for site civil engineering on the land side and the air side of the facility. Jacobs Facilities Inc. is the architect for the project, which has a construction price tag of $100,450,000. A general contractor has not yet been selected. Scott Consulting Engineers is finalizing survey work and property descriptions for the lease, conservation area and lease option, and the firm is nearly finished with the construction documents phase. Missouri Army National Guard’s AVCRAD is to be one of four complexes in the United States.
