The license office in Ava is changing its location under recently awarded new management, the Missouri Department of Revenue announced.
PAJJ Lane LLC has been awarded the contract to manage the office, and it plans to open at 1307 Haden St., Ste. 1, on June 17, according to a news release. The current location at 301 S. Spurlock St. is slated to close June 13 for the transition.
"I have been the office manager at the Gainesville location for almost three years," said Annette Lane of PAJJ Lane LLC, in the release. "I absolutely love what I do. I enjoy working with the public very much. Customer service is very important to me. I am extremely excited to start this new chapter."
DOR spokesperson Anne Marie Moy said via email that current Ava office operator License Office Services LLC and PAJJ Lane LLC were the two bidders for the contract.
Taking shape on 3.5 acres just east of State Highway H/Glenstone Avenue in the area of Valley Water Mill Park are the Fulbright Heights Apartments – three 23,000-square-foot buildings with 24 units each for a total of 72 one- and two-bedroom apartments.
