Automakers recall 12M US vehicles over Takata airbags

Eight automakers announced today a recall of more than 12 million U.S. vehicles related to defective Takata airbags.
Among the recalls is 4.5 million by Honda and 4.3 million by Fiat.
Earlier this month, Takata agreed to declare up to 40 million additional airbags defective by 2019. The move is expected to prompt 17 automakers to issue vehicle recalls.
Moseley’s Discount Office Products was purchased; Side Chick opened in Branson; and the Springfield franchise store of NoBaked Cookie Dough changed ownership.
