Authorities are investigating a large oil spill off the coast of California.
Early estimates indicate at least 126,000 gallons of oil spilled into the water, creating a slick that's 10 miles long. The oil reportedly has washed up on nearby beaches in the Orange County area.
The leak is believed to be coming from an undersea pipe connected to an offshore rig operated by Beta Operating Corp., a subsidiary of Amplify Energy.
