Australia to introduce stricter rules on working visas

Australia is introducing stricter visa requirements for foreign skilled workers.

Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull said the 457 visa program would be abolished in favor of two two new temporary visas that are more difficult to obtain.

"We are an immigration nation. But the fact remains, Australian workers must have priority for Australian jobs," Turnbull said in a video announcement posted on Facebook.
