Australia aims to be world's top medical marijuana supplier

Australia is moving to approve a measure that allows the country to export medical marijuana.

“By helping the domestic manufacturers to expand, this, in turn, helps to ensure an ongoing supply of medicinal cannabis products here in Australia," said Greg Hunt, the country's health minister.

Hunt said the goal is for Australia to be the world's leading supplier of medical marijuana.
