Missouri Auditor Nicole Galloway alleges a shuttered St. Louis charter school owes the state millions.
Specifically, an audit of the St. Louis College Prep Charter School found it was overpaid $1.4 million after officials allegedly falsified attendance records.
The audit found officials with the school also allegedly used school credit cards to buy gift cards, alcohol and hotel stays, among other expenses.
