U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions is scheduled to visit Kansas City today.
The attorney general is slated to meet with state and local officials to talk about ways to reduce violent crime.
The U.S. Department of Justice announced Sessions' plans yesterday.
Sessions said last month crime reduction was a priority for him and President Donald Trump.
