AT&T unwinds 15-year Web alliance with Yahoo

AT&T Inc. is bringing to a close a large portion of its 15-year Web partnership with Yahoo Inc.

AT&T awarded the contract to host its Web and mobile portals to Synacor Inc. The deal pulls a major chunk of the company's business away from struggling Yahoo.

Yahoo still will host AT&T's customer emails, though that's a fraction of its prior business.
