AT&T is ending its diversity, equity and inclusion programs, according to a letter sent to the federal government.
AT&T said in its letter to the Federal Communications Commission that it “does not and will not have any roles focused on DEI.”
The Trump administration requires telecom firms to end DEI programs as a condition of approving transactions. AT&T last year agreed to purchase some wireless spectrum licenses from US Cellular in a deal valued at over $1 billion.
