AT&T plans to deliver internet over power lines

AT&T is gearing up to support increasing needs for higher internet speeds.

Through its Project AirGig, the company plans to deliver low-cost, speedy internet over power lines.

The experimental system would place low-cost plastic antennas along existing power grids. The system has been tested on AT&T's own campuses.
