AT&T Missouri President Cindy Brinkley was appointed to senior vice president of talent development and chief diversity officer at AT&T’s San Antonio headquarters.
Replacing Brinkley is David Nichols, previously senior vice president of external affairs at AT&T California. He has been with the company since 1980.
“I look forward to living and working in Missouri and becoming involved with the community,” Nichols said in a news release. “I am also excited about the telecommunications environment in Missouri, which has been improved in the past several years because of some progressive leadership in the legislature.”
AT&T employs 14,200 in Missouri and invested $35.7 million in 2007 to upgrade its Missouri network, according to spokeswoman Chelsey Ilten.
