French technology services firm Atos signed a deal to buy Michigan-based Syntel Inc. for nearly $3.6 billion.
The deal for Syntel, a 23,000-employee information technology company, includes debt.
Syntel is predicted to post second-quarter revenue of $249.7 million on Thursday.
