Atlanta's police chief, Erika Shields, resigned after the fatal shooting of a black man by law enforcement officers.

Rayshard Brooks, 27, was killed during a struggle outside a Wendy's restaurant. Officials with the Georgia Bureau of Investigations say police were called when Brooks fell asleep in his car, blocking the drive-thru lane. Brooks took a Taser during a struggle and ran away, when he was shot.
