Atlanta news reporter dies after suffering massive stroke

An Atlanta news reporter died Wednesday after suffering a massive stroke on Tuesday.

Amanda Davis, 62, was a television anchor in Atlanta for more than 25 years. She anchored WGCL-TV's morning news and noon show, and prior to that, was a reporter and anchor for Atlanta's Fox affiliate, WAGA-TV.

She had the stroke at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport prior to flying to San Antonio following the death of her stepfather.
