Atlanta yesterday handed the Super Bowl reins over to Miamia at a news conference.
“I want to congratulate Atlanta for a great job,” said Rodney Barreto, chairman of the Miami Super Bowl Host Committee.
In Atlanta, the Super Bowl came at the end of 10 days of events the city hosted.
Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos Gimenez said next year, his city will have hosted 11 Super Bowls. That's more than any other city.
