At least 50 dead, more than 200 injured in Las Vegas shooting

A gunman shot and killed at least 50 people during a country music festival in Las Vegas on Sunday night.

More than 200 others were injured in what's being reported as the deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history.

The suspect, who was killed, was identified as Stephen Paddock, 64, a resident of Mesquite.

The gunman fired on the Route 91 Harvest Festival from a room on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. He was then killed by police.
