At least 19 children and two adults were killed during a school shooting yesterday in rural Texas.
The Robb Elementary School shooting in Uvalde, Texas, marks the deadliest American school shooting since the massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary a decade ago, according to The New York Times.
In addressing the nation last night, President Joe Biden did not call upon Congress to immediately vote on legislation or make a specific gun control proposal.
