Aston Martin's profits rise as sales double

Luxury car maker Aston Martin reported an increase in third-quarter profits to $4 million as sales volumes doubled.

Volumes increased by 99 percent to 1,776 vehicles during the quarter, and the company expects full-year results to yield 6,400 vehicles.

Aston also announced it's making progress on a second British factory that would make its first sport utility vehicle.
