Project description: A complete interior renovation of the fifth and sixth floors of the Assemblies of God National Office is the focus of this project that includes 50,000 square feet of finished space plus areas of specialized demolition. The building is a six-story post-tension structure built in the 1970s, now supplemented by a new elevator lobby and two elevators within the footprint of an adjacent 1940s building. Due to the central location, a 350-ton crane from St. Louis was required for construction. The architect is Torgerson Design Partners LLC, and engineers are CJW Transportation Consultants LLC, civil; RTM Engineering Consultants LLC, structural; and Smith-Goth Engineers Inc., mechanical, electrical and plumbing.
