#AskSeaWorld Twitter campaign backfires

SeaWorld last week launched a Twitter campaign under the hashtag #AskSeaWorld, promising to answer followers' questions.

However, the embattled company's campaign took a turn for the worse as SeaWorld's official Twitter handle was bombarded with questions about the company's procedures and treatment of animals.

A few examples:
  • "@SeaWorld so do you starve them before or after you make them perform" - @lorenarenae
  • "@SeaWorld why do you provide more area for us to park our cars than you give these animals to live? #AskSeaWorld" - @KellisKupcakes
  • "@SeaWorld Doesn't it bother you that so many believe you're far more concerned about making money than about the animals in your care?" - @VampiricChicken
