The American Society of Interior De-signers' Worldwide Referral Service is now available exclusively online at www.interiors.org. Potential clients can now access the referral service 24 hours a day, seven days a week, from anywhere in the world.
The new, customized features allow consumers quick and easy access to an ASID professional interior designer of their choice.
In an ASID news release, the organization offered tips on how the online service works:
1. Consumers go to www.interors. org or click on "Find a Designer" on the Society's home page at www.asid.org.
2. Once at the site, consumers learn about interior design services and how to work with an interior designer, or proceed directly to the "Find a Designer" search.
3. By completing a questionnaire about the type of project being considered, consumers are matched to the appropriate designers on the referral service list.
With the move online, the service of-fers some new benefits to users.
4. The service immediately finds and lists all the designers best matching the criteria entered.
5. Consumers can now see all the background information provided by the designer, such as minimum budget, sub-specialties, contact information, educational background and more.
"We are very excited about these new initiatives for the ASID Worldwide Re-ferral Service," said Barbara Nugent, FASID, ASID president. "Not only do consumers get what they want when they want it, now designers can expand their market to gain new clients they may not have been able to reach before. It's a win-win for everyone."
