Ashcroft to visit Springfield business community

Following the dinner at 7 p.m., Ashcroft will discuss homeland security and its impact on the business environment at Missouri State University’s Juanita K. Hammons Hall for the Performing Arts. Ashcroft’s speech is free and open to the public, but attendees are asked to call (417) 836-3069 or pick up tickets at any MSU TIX office.

Ashcroft’s visit kicks off the Heartland Institute of Management Accountants’ Regional Council’s education conference that runs Sept. 13–14 at University Plaza. The conference will bring together business leaders and speakers to discuss the challenges businesses face in a globalized economy.
