Jason England, who has led Arvest Bank's Springfield market for more than three years, is headed to a role within the Arkansas-based company's corporate ranks.
England has been promoted to Arvest's chief credit administration officer, a role through which he'll oversee the company's credit strategy, according to a Nov. 4 news release.
England said Tuesday afternoon that he would take on his new role in December after completing the month of November in Springfield. He said he plans to relocate to the Bentonville area for his new position.
The Springfield market president role will be posted internally to seek his successor, he added.
An Arvest employee for 27 years, England became its Springfield market president in summer 2022, according to past reporting. Prior to that, England was executive vice president and loan manager.
“I have truly enjoyed my time in Springfield. I am grateful for the relationships built with associates, customers and community leaders during my time here," England said in the release. "The opportunity to step into this new role and help guide the future of lending across the entire Arvest organization is both exciting and deeply meaningful to me."
Arvest Chief Operating Officer Yurik Paroubek said in the release that "Jason’s time in Springfield embodies what it means to be a community growth engine."
"He’s been a valuable asset, with a keen ability to balance growth with smart risk management," Paroubek said in the release. "His expertise will be instrumental in evolving our credit culture and driving operational excellence across the entire credit process."
Systemwide, Arvest has $27 billion in assets and more than 200 locations in Arkansas, Oklahoma, Kansas and Missouri.
