Arvest plans consumer sentiment survey

Fayetteville, Ark.-based Arvest Bank announced a consumer sentiment survey on Thursday that will report the economic expectations and outlook of Arkansas, Missouri and Oklahoma consumers.

According to Arkansas Business, the surveys that will run twice a year look at consumer opinions of state economies, and are meant to be compared to similar national surveys taken by Thomson/Reuters.

The Center for Business and Economic Research at the University of Arkansas Sam M. Walton School of Business will be used to conduct the survey.

The first test will run in February and results will be released in the spring.
