The new branch, 2403 W. Republic Road, is slated to open in the fall. Arvest’s first Springfield location opened in June 2007 in leased space at the Offices of Thornbury Place, 1435 E. Bradford Parkway.
At 6,000 square feet, the Republic Road location will be a full-service retail branch, with five drive-through lanes and an automated teller machine. It also will house representatives from Arvest Asset Management and Arvest Mortgage as well as a commercial lender and consumer loan officers.
Hours will be 7 a.m.–7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m.–1 p.m. on Saturdays.
Meanwhile, Arvest is searching for land in Springfield to build three to four more locations in the next three years. Its two Branson branches – which recently became part of Arvest’s Springfield market – are in Branson Landing and on Gretna Road. Another branch is planned for Hollister.
Arvest Bank Group operates more than 200 bank branches in Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri and Kansas.
Also at the groundbreaking event, Arvest presented $2,500 checks to the Ozarks Regional YMCA and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Springfield, on behalf of the Walton Family Foundation. Some members of the Walton family, which has ownership in Wal-Mart, also have ownership in Bentonville, Ark.-based Arvest and serve on its board of directors.[[In-content Ad]]
