Arvest Bank building $4.5M Republic branch

Posted online

Arvest Bank is expanding its footprint to Republic with a multimillion-dollar branch in the city.

The company's Springfield regional operation broke ground Nov. 12 on the 4,282-square-foot branch at the intersection of U.S. Highway 60 and South Farm Road 103 near the Stone Creek Falls development, according to a news release. An address has not yet been assigned for the branch.

The branch will be Arvest's first in Republic and its 14th in the Springfield region.

“Our goal is to be a true partner and a community-growth engine, providing individuals and businesses the financial tools and personal service that help them thrive," said Penny Lacy, sales manager and executive vice president for Arvest's Springfield region, in the release. "We look forward to becoming an integral part of the community for years to come."

DeWitt & Associates Inc. is serving as general contractor for the project, which is expected to launch with a soft opening in late 2026. North Little Rock, Arkansas-based WDD Architects is project architect for the branch, which has an approximate cost of $4.5 million, said Arvest spokesperson Chandler Johnston.

The Republic branch would house around eight employees led by Mindy Thompson, branch administrator for Arvest. Planned services at the branch include mortgage lending, business banking and wealth management, and a commercial drive-thru lane is slated to be added, along with two ATMs that have live teller lanes.
