Artists raise money for James River Basin Partnership

Posted online
Local artists have teamed up to put their designs on 12 rain barrels – 10 are shown here – in support of the James River Basin Partnership. According to JRBP, a rain barrel is a system for collecting and storing rainwater off the roof and diverting it to storm drains and streams.

The barrels, which are on display throughout the city, will be auctioned off at a June 29 JRBP fund-raiser at Wonders of Wildlife.

For more information, call (417) 836-8878. Listed with each barrel is the artist and display location. Other barrels are at Moxie Cinema, 408 W. Walnut St., and Waverly House, 2031 S. Waverly Ave.
