The winners of the 2005 “Helping CASA Help Kids” art contest will display their work 7–9:30 p.m. at the Randy Bacon Gallery, 320 S. Park Central West.
The 18 pieces of art were selected from hundreds of entries from K-12 students from more than 40 schools in southwest Missouri and northern Arkansas.
The winning pieces also will be printed onto cards and sold to the public to raise funds and awareness for Court Appointed Special Advocates.
This is the fifth year for the contest, which began as a way to encourage children to develop their artistic abilities and engage them in helping other, less fortunate children.
