The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Port of San Francisco have released a draft plan to remake the city's shoreline.
The initiative, which has a $13.5 billion budget, would be the largest single infrastructure project in the city's history.
The plan includes increasing the height of the shoreline by several feet in anticipation of rising sea levels.
