Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson yesterday announced a statewide masking mandate.
Hutchinson said the order becomes effective July 20. Violations would mean a $100 to $500 fine and a misdemeanor.
The announcement came as the state reported 817 new confirmed cases of COVID-19.
