Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson said the “Arkansas Works” modified Medicaid expansion plan is advancing with approvals by federal officials.
Arkansas had asked the federal government to let the state charge premiums to some patients and to require that participants with no income go to job training and placement programs, according to Arkansas Business.
The insurance program serves 300,000 low-income residents in the state.
