Arkansas Children's Hospital 7-year campaign raises $167M

With more than two months to go, Arkansas Children’s Hospital has exceeded its centennial capital campaign goal of $160 million.

The Little Rock, Ark., hospital, where former Mercy Hospital Springfield President Dr. Robert Steele took a job in May, started the Century of Possibility campaign seven years ago and already has collected $167 million, according to Arkansas Business.

All told, some 498,000 donations came from over 92,900 donors. Arkansas Business reports the funds have been earmarked for pediatric care, medical research, education and statewide prevention programs.
