Ark. Gov. Beebe calls for resignation of Lt. Gov. Darr

Arkansas Gov. Mike Beebe is calling for the resignation of Lt. Gov. Mark Darr, citing commission findings accusing Darr of violating the state's campaign spending rules 11 times since 2010.

The resignation request from the Democratic governor came a day after Republican Darr agreed to pay $11,000 to settle claims he misspent campaign cash and failed to keep adequate records, according to an Associated Press report published in Arkansas Business.

Darr reportedly has no plans to resign.
