Aretha Franklin, known by her Queen of Soul nickname, died yesterday of cancer. She was 76.
Franklin died of advanced pancreatic cancer, according to Franklin's oncologist.
Over six decades, Franklin's career was marked by hit songs including "Respect," "A Natural Woman" and "I Say a Little Prayer."
