Ross Williams Architects is architect for Truman Village LLC's Truman Village project in Warsaw. Tate Engineering Consultants of Springfield and Whitehead Consultants of Clinton are engineers for the 28,557-square-foot structure, which has an estimated completion date of June. The general contractor has not yet been named.
The project is on 15 acres of land, which includes a two-acre lake. The development will include high-end duplexes and 40,000 square feet of office buildings. The first phase will include JD Pharmacy, a diner and 5,300 square feet of office space available for rent. The pharmacy will be constructed of brick and structural steel with a standing-seam metal roof. The interior will feature a medical equipment sales area, inoculation rooms, a mailing and packaging area, and a natural produce and gift area. There will be a two-story atrium with a massive ornamental tree at the entrance to the natural produce area. Offices and conference rooms will overlook the atrium. The pharmacy will be automated with robots. The estimated cost is $2.2 million for the first phase, plus land, fees, furnishings, fixtures and equipment.
