Architecture: Phelps County Regional Medical Center

Esterly, Schneider & Associates Inc. AIA is architect for the new emergency department for Phelps County Regional Medical Center in Rolla. Bob D. Campbell & Co. is structural engineer and Malone, Finkle, Eckhardt & Collins is mechanical/electrical engineer for the 16,000-square-foot project, scheduled for completion this month. The state-of-the-art emergency department has a new entrance leading to reception and waiting. The department includes 25 treatment rooms and four holding rooms. The treatment rooms include an ear, nose and throat room, a psychiatric room, an obstetrics room, two orthopedics rooms, two pediatrics rooms, two trauma rooms, one isolation room and five convenient-care rooms. The department serves Phelps County and surrounding communities.
