Posted online

Sam A. Winn & Associates is the architect for the Sedalia School District No. 200’s 225,000-square-foot high school that initially will house grades 10 through 12. Project engineers are Anderson Engineering Inc., civil; Butler, Rosenbury & Partners Inc., structural; and LaRose & Schober Engineering Inc., mechanical, electrical and plumbing. Bidding is under way for the project’s general contractor. The school will be built on a 120-acre campus adjacent to the U.S. Highway 65 corridor, and it will include expansion space to eventually accommodate ninth grade as well. Also included is the Heckart Performance Arts Center, which will seat 750 and have a full production stage to be used by the school and community. The precast architectural exterior construction and steel-frame facility is scheduled to be complete in time for the 2009–10 school year.[[In-content Ad]]
