Mettermeyer Engineering is the structural engineer for a 20,000-square-foot agricultural facility for the Willard R-II School District. Dake Wells Architecture Inc. is the lead architect with consulting by H Design Group LLC. Other engineers on the estimated $2 million project are Colvin Jones Davis LLC, mechanical, electrical and plumbing; and Deka Engineering Inc., civil. Dake Wells also is the interior designer, and Rich Kramer Construction is the general contractor. The facility will house agricultural studies for the district, and it will have classrooms, a computer lab and an art shop complete with welding stations, an overhead crane and room for the addition of a paint booth. The exterior has load-bearing masonry for the classroom segment of the building, and a steel-frame system for the shop. Completion is slated for August.
