Lohmeyer Russell is the architect for Aldersgate United Methodist Church’s 37,000-square-foot addition in Nixa. Engineers and an interior designer for the project have not yet been selected. The general contractor is Walton Construction. The estimated cost is not available; the church’s building committee is in the midst of fundraising, with hopes of beginning construction this year. The project entails a 600-seat worship center, and the addition also would provide space for children’s education programs and, possibly, a licensed daycare. Completion is anticipated for 2009.
