HMN Architects is architect and interior designer for the Taney County Commission’s 107,602-square-foot judicial center and jail. Butler, Rosenbury & Partners Inc. is the associate architect on the estimated $27 million project. Engineers on the project are Kansas City-based Henderson Engineers, mechanical, electrical and plumbing, and fire protection; Kansas City-based Johnston, Burkholder & Associates, structural; Montgomery Hoffman & Associates, food service; Texas-based Latta Technical Services, security engineering; Anderson Engineering Inc., civil; and Palmerton & Parrish Inc., geotechnical. The facility will include courtrooms for the circuit court and two associate circuit courts; judges’ chambers; offices for court clerks, prosecuting attorneys and the sheriff; and a 250-bed jail. Construction management is by Septagon Construction Co. Inc., with completion scheduled for August.
