Bolivar-based Design Group Architects Ltd. is the architect for a renovation and addition to a Bolivar office building for owner-developer DCBC LLC. Smith-Goth Engineers Inc. is the mechanical engineer, and Haney & Associates Inc. is the structural engineer. The project, with an estimated $450,000 price tag, will convert a 2,900-square-foot banking facility into a 6,000-square-foot office building that will be home to a drive-up bank and three speculative office spaces.
The design is meant to capitalize on views of downtown Bolivar and create a European atmosphere for tenant businesses. Completion is slated for spring 2009.
