Chamberlain and Goforth is the architect for a 27,250-square-foot steakhouse for owner Tina Fears, who also is the general contractor. Fears is designing the eatery’s interior as well. The engineers are LaRose & Schober Engineering Inc., mechanical, electrical and plumbing; Miller Engineering PC, structural; and Deka Engineering LLC, civil. T’s Redneck Steakhouse will be a single-story structure with a modern kitchen, two separate dining rooms, a full-service bar, an open-air veranda and a private banquet room. The restaurant will specialize in steaks and barbecue, and it will have a drive-up window. The exterior and interior décor will be rustic. The building was essentially complete in December, but landscaping work at the site is still in progress.
