Architects & Engineers Winter 2008 Project Report: Casey Architecture

Casey Architecture is the architect for the roughly $1.2 million transformation of 1919-built apartment building The Wilshire into six condominium units for owners/developers Curtis and Jennifer Casey. The engineers are Colvin Jones Davis LLC, mechanical, electrical and plumbing; and Mettemeyer Engineering LLC, structural. DCI Construction is the general contractor for the project. The Wilshire is located at 520 S. Jefferson St. Great Southern Bank is the lender for the project. Once complete, the three-story masonry structure, which is on the National Historic Register, will have six 1,400-square-foot, two-bedroom units, each with covered porches, wood floors, stainless steel appliances, granite and marble countertops and private parking.
