Architects & Engineers 2009 Winter Project Report: Creative Ink Architects

Description: Creative Ink is the architect for Creation Museum of the Ozarks' 40,000-square-foot museum, which will serve as a ministry and educational resource for the biblical teachings of creationism. The engineers are Meridian Structural Works Inc., structural; Smith-Goth Engineers Inc., mechanical, electrical and plumbing; and Olsson Associates Inc., civil. The facility will have a naturally lit main exhibit gallery, a two-story exhibit hall and an educational wing with classrooms, a 200-seat auditorium, administration space and a restaurant. The focal point for the museum's 10-acre site - which has not yet been secured - will be a garden designed to illustrate, in true scale, the actual plan dimensions of Noah's Ark. Completion is slated for summer 2012.
