Slone Architects Inc. is the architect and interior designer for a new People’s Bank of Seneca branch in Joplin. Engineers for the roughly $2 million project are Latifi Engineering, mechanical, electrical and plumbing; Edelman Engineering, structural; and Tri-State Engineering Inc., civil. Federal Construction Inc. is the general contractor for the 4,394-square-foot facility, which will have a brick and natural limestone exterior. The building’s lobby is designed with several windows to allow the use of natural daytime light. The first floor will have five offices and a café-style break room. The property will have multiple drive-through lanes and an ATM lane, as well as a storm shelter in the basement. Completion is slated for this summer.
