Architect: Scott Consulting Engineers PC

Jane Earnhart, RLA, of Scott Consulting Engineers is the landscape architect for Phase III of the Boonville Avenue Streetscape for the city of Springfield. Neil D. Fossnight, PE, of Scott Consulting Engineers is the engineer for the project, which comprises work on Boonville Avenue from Phelps Street to Tampa Street. Phase III extends the downtown streetscape north to Tampa Street past the Jordan Valley Innovation Center and includes improvements to sidewalks, paving design, landscaping and street trees, irrigation for landscaping, on-street parking and pedestrian lighting. Hunter Chase & Associates Inc. is the general contractor. The estimated cost for Phase III is $400,000, and completion is scheduled for this fall. Phase IV of the Boonville Avenue Streetscape project has been approved for an enhancement grant from the Missouri Department of Transportation to extend the project to Chestnut Expressway, which will serve to visually connect Springfield City Hall and the Greene County Courthouse with downtown.
