Owner/developer Darren Smith is the general contractor for the historic renovation for Sensory Integration Audio Visual. Engineers are Wells & Scaletty LLC, mechanical, electrical and plumbing; and Pinnacle Design Consultants LLC, structural. BancorpSouth is the lender for the roughly $2 million project, which has 5,354 square feet of retail space on the main floor, including a showroom, training rooms, home theater demonstration room and offices. A 2,750-square-foot lower floor includes a garage and storage area and is accessible from Patton Alley. The third floor is Veridian Events, which operates as a separate entity. The building has 7,355 square feet that can be rented for parties and accommodate about 300 people, with an on-site kitchen and bar. Completion is slated for October.[[In-content Ad]]
