A general contractor has not yet been selected for the renovation and expansion of James River Assembly of God’s satellite church in southwest Springfield. BKDCreative is the architect, and engineers are Smith-Goth Engineers Inc., mechanical, electrical and plumbing; Miller Engineering PC, structural; and Anderson Engineering Inc., civil. The project, which has an estimated cost of $12 million, comprises a renovation of 30,000 square feet and a series of phased additions. Technology is incorporated throughout to attract young adults and families, including children’s check-in kiosks, video walls and a theatrical sanctuary space to be linked via video to the church’s Ozark campus. Completion is slated for spring 2012.[[In-content Ad]]
